Welcome to Between the Vines! This is a place where I will write about things and hopefully someone will read them. The theme? What I believe to be a microcosm of our world - the dinner table. Pretentious neologism aside, I promise it means something! The dinner is a self-contained place, where food, wine, and ideas can come together - albeit sometimes too loudly and unrefined - to make us all feel a little more alive and connected. There's something fundamental about it, something meaningful. It's the connective tissue of our communities and the heartbeat of our homes. So I will write about just that. Wine, food, and anything else that is suitable for dinner table chatter (and trust me, there's a lot.)
